General Pump's CW2040 is a triplex plunger pump for car washes and preferred in self-service applications. Constructed with a forged brass manifold and solid ceramic plungers. Designed with a large capacity die-cast anodized aluminum oil-bath crankcase. Equipped with over-sized connecting rods to extend the rod's life.

Response:Hi Steve, techs here would replace the packing in the pump. Also, you could check the inlet plumbing to make sure you are not starving the pump for water.
Question:Do I need to put new oil in or can I run the new pump with the oil that it came with - James (03/15/2020)
Response:General recommends changing the oil on a new pump after a 50 hour break-in period. After that, every 3 months or 500 hours
