Kleen-Rite Chemical Dilution Testing Kit

This titration kit allows you to test a diluted Kleen-Rite product to determine the dilution level. Includes chemicals, graduated cylinder, beaker, and instructions in a convenient carrying case.

Contents of Kit:

• Graduated Cylinder
• Beaker
• Phenolphthalein Indicator (in a dropper bottle)
• 1.0 Normal Sulfuric Acid (in a dropper bottle)
• Testing Instructions
• Storage Box

Titration Soft WaterTest Procedure:

• Fill graduated cylinder to the 50 ml mark with the diluted product
• Pour sample into the beaker
• Add 2 drops of Phenolphthalein indicator
• Slowly add 1.0 Normal Sulfuric Acid
• When the pink solution grows weaker in color, the next drop will dispel color. This is the endpoint.
• Count the drops
• Using the drop count, read concentrates from the table below
  

*All low pH products give no readings when titrated due to the polymer make up in the products.
