The Hypro Pentair 2160-0038 is a special formulation of oil designed specifically for their piston and plunger pumps. This genuine OEM oil provides smooth operation and prevents oxidation that leads to rust and sludge formation. Reduces scuff and wear inside piston and plunger pumps. Hypro recommends only using their oil, changing the oil after 40 hours of break-in operation and every three months or every 500 hours of operation.
