Commercial Vacuum Seals and Gaskets

Seals and gaskets are very important to keeping your car wash vacuum cleaners running properly. Motor gaskets are installed between the motor and the motor base to prevent metal to metal contact and create a non-leaking seal. Other gaskets are installed on the cleanout door to keep air from escaping the canister, which is necessary to maintain full suction.

These peel-and-stick mounted gaskets are easy to replace. Simply be sure that when you remove the old gaskets to clean any residue left behind before attempting to adhere the new gasket. Simply use a putty knife or a solvent if needed. Once the mounting area is thoroughly cleaned from any residue or debris, press your new gasket in place and apply firm pressure door about a minute.

If you’re experiencing weak suction with your car wash vacuum, gaskets should be one of the first items you examine before doing any expensive mechanical or electrical repairs. Replacing gaskets costs significantly less money than complicated repairs, so what seems like a disastrous issue might actually be a quick fix that only takes a few minutes and costs a few dollars.
